Depending on whether the booking is managed directly with Hopper or with one of the travel partners, there may be a redirection to the website of the airline, hotel, or car rental company to complete the cancellation and initiate the refund process.
Refund eligibility varies depending on the type of booking. The confirmation email will list the cancellation policy at the bottom of the receipt. Refunds are always at the discretion of the airline, hotel, or car rental company and Hopper can only process a refund if authorized.
For flights, information about how to cancel the flight and how to review the flight cancellation policy is available. Most often, flights with low-cost carriers need to be canceled directly on their website. They will email a confirmation of cancellation and direct to Hopper to process the refund.
